*Freeskilling* - 7pm (sharp!) Tues 21st Oct outside Better Food Cafe, Sevier St

Capoeira Angola is an artform, a dynamic fusion of music, dance, theatre, acrobatics, game-play and martial art. Rooted in tribal African culture, it first developed on the plantations of Brazil as a form of cultural resistance to slavery and as a literal tool for liberation. Want to learn more...?

*Freeskilling* this week is called *Capoeira Angola* and is an introduction to this wonderful artform. We'll meet at 7pm (sharp this week!)
outside the Better Food Company Cafe, Sevier St this Tues 21st Oct.

We will meet Better Food Co as usual, but we'll then walk up to St Werburghs Primary School to learn some basic
Capoeira moves, working in pairs and as a group. Later on we'll join in on a roda (I'm looing forward to finding out what that is!)

Music and singing is also very much a part of capoeira, so if you'd rather not be so
physically involved, there's still loads to learn and take part in!

Tonights night requires a donation (£2 or £3 recommended) as the school requires a fee for the evening, but all the donations will go to it.
All are welcome youdon't have to be a member of the Freeconomy Community, but you should
join anyway cos it's great :-D

So tell any friends you have who are interested in any aspect of Capoeira, the more the merrier!
