Radical food for brains & stomachs

Weekly event at kebele social centre. Every Saturday from 11am to 2pm. Food, radical publications & merchandise to buy cheap, free info, internet, networking & socialising. All welcome, including families & young people.

The Saturday cafe provides an extremely filling vegan breakfast or brunch along with quality teas & coffee from the Zapatistas, all for a small donation, or if you are skint just do some extra washing up or help out in the kitchen!

The Infoshop provides an entry to alternative viewpoints missing from our plastic city centres and temples of consumption. Whether its t-shirts, books, badges, mags or music, you will find it here.

Both the cafe and infoshop are run by unpaid volunteers who do it cos they believe in it and are practising anarchist ideas in the here and now. Any monies raised by them go back into kebele to pay its bills. So whether you are a committed activist, or just someobody interested in what alternatives there are to the global capitalist crisis, you 'll find something worthwhile at Saturdays!
